Lunch Date.

I met up with Kyle to grab some lunch in the city this afternoon. Some interesting conversations were had in between eating food and drinking coffee.

Cox Plate 2008.

Sherrel and Amanda came down to Melbourne for the Cox Plate over the weekend. I wasn't going to go but few tickets became available at the last possible minute and I decided to attend, despite not owning a suit. Friday night ticket pick-up was followed by late-night shopping, and I thankfully managed to find a suit in time, thanks to Ben and Liz who accompanied me in my suit-hunting quest. So on Saturday October 25, Sherrel, Amanda, Ben, Alex and I attended the Cox Plate to drink some champagne, bet on some horses, and have some fun. Needless to say, we all looked nice and beautiful.

Marquee grounds contd.

Craig, the organizer of our marquee. He went through bit of a trouble organizing the whole thing after another organizer girl pulled out. He managed to organize our tickets after some people pulled out and everything was good in the end. Also his jacket is pimpin'.

I put $10 on Samantha Miss to win. Straight to glue factory for you, Samantha!
We were actually all on the phone to someone. Unfortunately, I was on the phone to Golden.
Alex, Ben and me.
It was my first time to the races and it was heaps of fun. Now that I've finally sold my soul to the devil and suited up, I'll be looking to attend more of these in the future.

Beach Beer Fire!

Around 7pm last Friday, I received a call from Josh on my way to a haircut appointment. Nevermind the lateness of my hair appointment, he was going down to his beach house for a night of drinking by the beach, so I decided to join him, along with Ben and Kyle.

Ben with the slabs for our long night ahead.

Kyle drinking from an empty bottle that's been rolling around on the floor of Josh's car for god knows how long.

Kyle flopping it out.

After some shenenigans around the house we went down to the beach to get the night really started.

Josh's orgasm face.

Cousins rockin' it out.

Trying to get the fire going.
...the fire got going.
Nick and Kyle spent some time building a 'barrier' to block out the tide that was coming in. Thanks to this barrier most of us stayed pretty dry the whole night.

Corona with sand-topping.

Fun times.
Burn baby, burn!

Run, baby, run!
Jesse and Nick going for a casual stroll by the beach. The weather was perfect for it.
The morning after.
Simultaneous-blinking capture.

Ben's massive bag of chips and gravy. Yum!

The beach, morning after.
It was random and fun night. We were all dead tired the next day and some of us had to go to work that evening, but definitely worth it.
A candid shot of yours truly napping on our way home.
